Parran Collery is the artist behind Eartha Handmade Tiles, located in Port Republic Maryland. Here is what Parran has to say about her work: "As a tile designer, my work has grown from a desire to express my artistic vision through sculpture. Inspired by nature, the cosmos and the beauty of everyday objects, I use traditional tile forming methods to create brightly glazed, relief-sculpted images in terra cotta clay. The resulting tiles and mosaics combine sophisticated whimsy with exquisite design. Embodied in my work is the spirit of the words of environmentalist Rachel Carson: 'Drink in the beauty and wonder at the meaning of everything you see.'" Parran's tiles are one-of-a-kind, and her palette of colors is exquisite. All tiles have a notch in the back for easy hanging.
